| Starting with an edition available online from print-on-demand publishing house, Kessinger Press, the artists have enhanced and worsened the peculiar design of the book as a way of undermining this kind of insensitive pillaging of the out-of-copyright literary past. For this clownish act of subversion, the artists have chosen Henri Bergson's thematically apt Laughter: An Essay on the Meaning of the Comic and used the similarly appropriate (and notoriously ugly) typeface, Comic Sans. |
