| While on a residency at SALT in Istanbul, Eva, one of the Piracy Project curators, was taken to a copy shop containing over 3000 bootlegs of academic publications. The originals are often taken from University libraries — brought by students, who order copies for their reading groups. The scanned books are stored as pdfs. The database keeps growing. |
